I wish existed.
I started Onyx because I wanted to build a business where people could bring their vehicles, explain what they wanted and feel confident in the outcome—a place built to help someone perfect their dream car.
Where it started
Detailing is the beginning.
I’m Quinton, a 19-year-old engineering student at the University of Memphis. I work nights while building Onyx Darkline Detailing here in Tipton County.
I chose mobile detailing honestly because it was a more budget-friendly way to begin, with less overhead than opening a full shop. It gave me a realistic starting point for building something much larger while serving customers professionally right now.
The goal has never been to clean cars just for the sake of cleaning them. I want customers to leave happy with the work, confident in the result and excited about their vehicle again.

Why Ivy matters
She is where the vision became real.
Ivy, my 1999 Chevy Suburban, is the beginning of this story. She is the vehicle I want to completely transform and make my own dream ride.
She made me imagine the kind of automotive business I wish I could take her to: somewhere I could hand over the keys, explain the full vision, write the check and trust that every cosmetic part of the build would be handled properly.
That is the kind of experience I eventually want Onyx to create for other car owners.
Where Onyx is going
A true one-stop custom shop.
The long-term vision is for Onyx to become a complete automotive customization shop offering detailing, paint, upholstery, wraps and window tint—all centered around the customer’s individual vision for their vehicle.
Those expanded services are the destination, not a promise that they are available today. Right now, Onyx is focused on professional mobile detailing and earning trust one vehicle at a time.
The customers, supporters and car people following that journey are the Onyx Pride. Every detail completed today helps build the experience and reputation needed to make the larger vision real.
